SATIN AND SATEEN ARE NOT THE SAME

Satin is a shiny, non-breathable cold fabric, the type we never use for Lejaan bed linen. Satin is 100% polyester and often used for evening gowns. Sateen (which we do use) is a smooth, soft fabric with a gentle sheen, even after many washes.

SMOOTH WEAVE

The word “sateen” actually refers to a weaving technique, with a particular thread pattern. A sateen weave produces an exceptionally soft and smooth fabric and is available among our cotton, organic cotton, lyocell and polyester blend bed linen.

WRINKLE-RESISTANT SATEEN

Wrinkle-resistant yet luxuriously soft; that’s what our sateen weave cotton and synthetic blend bed linen is like. Sateen weave features a higher thread count, so apart from its luxuriously smooth feel, it’s also more durable and long-lasting.

TENCEL SATEEN WEAVE BED LINEN

To truly appreciate TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric you have to try it! Its soft-to-touch feel is hard to describe. This particular bed linen has a soft silky look.

COTTON SATEEN BED LINEN

For those who love cotton, sateen cotton is the ideal choice. The cotton threads are woven tighter giving it superior softness. This bedding is smoother than regular cotton, yet it maintains all the beneficial properties of cotton. We offer collections made of 100% cotton or organic cotton in a satin weave.
